A. Donald Gilden DDS

Dr. Gilden was my wonderful dentist for many years. We first met when I stayed at a family member's home while in Buffalo with my Temple youth group from Rochester. Don was still in college. Don was very special . I enjoyed many years of tennis with him and Gary Schuller. Lots of fun. He had a great heart and we also enjoyed talking dentistry when he referred patients. Thanks Don for these special memories.. Marshall Fagin

Just want to share our condolences to everyone in the family. Sorry that we cannot be there with you this week. I will share one memory that I hope will make you smile. I recall going to see Don for a dental checkup when I was a teenager. I think I asked him why he became a dentist, and he responded, without hesitation, that it was because he did not like children. Of course, I knew he was joking, and a big smile broke out on both our faces. He will be missed.

He was my dentist years ago and installed a " Maryland bridge" which is still fine and causes open mouth reaction to my dentists today when they see it, some young ones have ever seen one; he was a nice man and great dentist
