Duncan was a classmate from the time we attended Harrison Hill Grade School through South Side High School in Fort Wayne. We all remembered Duncan's evident talent in athletics, which unfortunately was cut short in grade school due to a heart murmur. During our years at South Side, we were occasionally in the same class, one of which was the world history class as sophomores.
