Dr. Aaron Lee Rank

Aaron will be sorely missed. In the several years I've known him, he has been a true friend and inspiration. He coached me for the 4-year run up to the Conference in Dallas in 2022. I could not have done it without him. He was open hearted and very much a special person. Aaron, I´m so fortunate to have gotten to know you better toward the end of your life. I met you, the first time, at our (his paternal) grandfathers funeral in 1997. We were both young adults. After thanksgiving 2023 we had dinner with Tony and yourself and I´m super happy for the time and photos shared, although it was way too short and not enough. You were adventurous and a decent human. As a nurse anesthesia student, Dr. Rank poured into me and my journey with anesthesia. He encouraged me to be curious, and try new techniques. He went out of his way to make sure I felt welcomed and supported. He was one of my favorites to work with and learn under.
