Memories of Dr Rausen will forever remain in our hearts. Joe & Pam Fett Parents of the late Erica Lynn Fett

Adding my voice in tribute to Dr. Rausen, who was my treating doctor in the late 80s, at 7 years old, when I went through a year of chemo and a couple of surgeries for malignant melanoma. I saw Dr. Rausen for checkups until my mid-20s; I'm 40 now. My mom talks about how up until meeting Dr. Rausen, the path for and outcome of my medical situation were uncertain. My parents trusted Dr. Rausen and his medical advice pimmensely, and I am grateful not only for my life but for the shepherding of...

Always remembering Dr. Rausen for the compassionate man/physician he was. God Bless his family.
Sincerely,
Joseph & Pamela Fett

It has taken us a long time to write about Dr. Rausen. There aren't enough words to describe this medical warrior and compassionate friend. He treated our daughter, Gabrielle, for 7 years. She grew from a child into a young lady and always referred to him as her baby. She is gone now for almost 31 years but we have never forgotten the time and love he showed her & our family throughout her treatment. We always felt we were in the most capable hands possible with Dr. Rausen. May his soul Rest...

I was very sorry to hear of Dr Rausens death. He treated my daughter 35 years ago. He was compassionate and patient. He will be missed.

I am deeply saddened today, after finding out that the man who saved my little boy's life, is no longer with us.

In May of 1987 at NYU Hospital, I met Dr. Aaron Rausen. My 2-year old little boy was very sick...and Dr. Rausen diagnosed him with A.L.L.

Dr Rausen was very kind and extremely determined to help my son, despite not being a 'participating physician' with my insurance plan. I was devastated with the news that my son had leukemia and we would have to go to...

I just happened upon finding out that Dr. Rausen passed away. Dr. Rausen treated my little sister, Joann, at NYU for Ewing's Sarcoma from 1980 until she passed in 1983, along with so many other children. Many of whom he was able to "save". The first time I met him, I was so angry at my parents because he was so cold, rude & curt. However, after seeing him in action with his kids, I totally understood the reasoning behind it. He was our family's strength during Jo's treatments, passing...

The best doctor I ever knew and 100% dedicated to his patients. He was a one of a kind and Gold Standard of a doctor. He was a great man, and friend. Me and my family could never Thank him enough.
