We love the spirit, the beauty, the happiness and the adventure as embodied in Abby. There was never anyone like her before and never will be again. We will never forget her.

You ended your life far too young, but you died for the love of your countrymen. For this we are profoundly grateful. You can rest easy, your duty is done, we have the watch. Hand salute!

We are never prepared for a death like this. Abby was almost part of our family, being engaged to our grandson, Shane Grant. She left without finishing her tattoos on Shane. Knowing Shane, those tattoos will remain as the are until Shane meets Abby in Heaven for Abby to finish those tattoos.
