My deepest condolences for the loss of such a devout man. The psalmist gives us comfort about the Earth being a Paradise again and living in peace. We need such reminders of these promises from our Creator especially when facing a lot of a loved one. PS 37:9-11,29; Jeremiah 29:11

Although I have not seen or spoken to Rabbi Kelman since my youth, I have thought of him often. I was a student in one of the last class of boys at Prospect Park Yeshiva in the 1960's and Rabbi Kelman officiated at my Bar Mitzvah at the Jewish Center. Although I am saddened by his passing, I am heartened by the long and productive life that he led. I remember him as a patient man of integrity.
