I worked with Ada for 13 years at State Office of Protection and Advocacy. Yes, she was compassionate and warm and sweet and insightful and always motivated by kindness, but she could also be wry and ironic and, with not even a hint of meanness, humorously satirical. She always had a smile the last time i seen her was when her my mom Linda Carroll my aunt Barbran Riddle came to visit her brother in ya Washington Heights section of Manhattan that was last summer 2019 I live just a couple blocks away I’m in shock but she is in a better place

Ada was one of the most kind and generous people I have had the privilege to know. I had the honor to work with her for almost 20 years, and I treasured her commitment to her community and to those she served. She will be sorely missed.
