Burial will follow in Old Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, A Dignity Memory Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Memory Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Alvina Fritz; grandfather, William "Spud" Olmstead; grandmother, Betty Eaton; aunt, Donna Glaze; and brother, Logan Olmstead.
Survivors include his daughter, Destiny Searcy; son, Ethen Kyzer; sister, Elizabeth Marie Hambrick; brothers, Michael Wayne Olmstead and Logan Ray Olmstead; parents, Kelly and Mike Schepers and Wayne and Kayla Olmstead; and his grandparent, Frances Schepers.
There are smiles and there are grins and Adam had a grin that would light up a room every time you saw him; and he had this grin for everyone he saw.
There were times when he stumbled and had a hard time finding his way. But Adam always loved his family and his family dearly loved him.
Adam, you have taken the last steps on your journey home and although you are gone you will never be forgotten. You will be missed. A troubled soul now set free.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Brother in law, i dont even know where to start with you. Lol every time we were around each other it was always laughing and smiling. All the memories we have have been playing back in my head over and over again like they just happened yesterday. You were always there, never failed on me. I cant wait to show KG pictures from his party and let him know how crazy he looked at you when you'd be talking to him. And his letters you signed ill let him know you are a angel, and he has uncle Adam looking down over him always. I hate you left us so early, but this is not goodbye, ill see you when i see you. Love you!

Adam I sit and remember all the memories we had together you put a smile on my face and was there for me when no one else was. You were their at my nephews first birthday and Christmas and the random trips out of town..my heart will always have a hole from this...I always told you I loved you all the way to Jesus and past the stars and I still fill that way today.I wish I could hear that goofy laugh you had just one more time and turn back the hands of time. You tried to play matchmaker for my sister and I won't ever forget that. All your pain is gone now love and I know your with Jesus and he is giving you more love than we can ever imagine. You told me I was the sun that cleared your storms and the moonlight that lights your path and truth is now your mine. I love you forever. Rest in paradise my angel.
