Not sure what to say?

March 5, 2010 - I knew you as your kayak sponsor in the early to mid-1990s and will always remember your verve, enthusiasm and curiosity that took you down new and different paths. I hope to see you again one day, assuming I can get a pass to the good place you're now cruising...! Condolences to those you've left and congratulations to those same people for having known you. Cathy, Jamie, Tim and family,
We were so sorry to hear the news. Just want to let you know you are in our thoughts and our hearts go out to you.

Cathy
I just heard today. It has been many years but I remember Adam as wonderful individual. He left you much to be proud of and many great memories I'm sure.

Rest in peace, cousin Adam. Everyone really misses you. You've left many memories with your friends and family that will always be treasured. Gone, but never forgotten.

Love,
Kelsey

“The Shandro family treated us as members of their family in the early 80s, when Adam was eight years old, and we barely spoke any English. Today is a day of sorrow for us too, here in the Basque Country. We remember Adam, and we keep you in our hearts Cathy, Tim, Jamie and your families. On June 21st, we will toast to Adam with txakoli, a Basque white wine, just looking to the Udalatx and Anboto mountains.” Joxe, Bego and Miren (Elorrio, Basque Country)

It is true: Adam inspired me to live my life more fully. I have never met a human being with a more contagious spirit.

Cathy, Lori, dear Addie & Ellie...

I am broken by the news that Adam is so longer with you in this physical world. I cannot find appropriate words to express my deepest sympathy.
I have too many fond memories of Adam (from back in the 90's) to share, but, there was definitely only one Adam Shandro...a gem, of the highest quality.

I have so many fond memories that I'll never forget. All the day trips, filled with laughs and that infectious smile. Rest in peace buddy.
