Afton amazed me. She was this fine lady who would not let anything or anyone stop her.

She would go up and down the halls of the Chateau Brickyard in her wheelchair for her exercise. I did not understand what she was doing and when I first arrived as administrator I would often ask if I could assist her. In a polite tone she would decline the assistance and it was her husband Gus who finally explained what she was doing.

We sure love Afton and Gus. They were great examples to us. May their children, grandchildren and other loved ones be blessed with peace.
