Malik was like a brother to me . A man for the people with love and respect for all . Loving nature and Humans alike. I know he is heaven working as an angel for the good of all . Malik May your memory continue to be a blessings to all and may you rest in eternal peace. Thank you for sharing your valuable time with us the world is a better place for it .

I'll never forget that day when Malik, Da Mudman, came into my café - Java Love in Burlington, Vermont. 1996 perhaps? He was new to VT, and had just arrived from Hawaii. I was playing the classic Marvin Gaye album, "What's Going On" in the Java Love and he gave me high praise for my musical taste. We bonded immediately as brothers. He gave me a copy of his CD "A.W.O.L. (All Ways One Love)" and I still have it to this day. Though we lost touch with each other years ago, I was saddened to...

This was last April at Red Rock when you and I shared time. What a memory.

I lost a brother and a friend but gained a world. Our hearts were knot together from our very first meeting. Soldier on Malik.

I just found out about the passing of dear Brother Malik. I loved him and respected him so much. My heartfelt condolences for all of the Malik family.

It is extremely difficult to find the words to express my sadness. I pray for comfort for the Malik family. Have peace in knowing that the Lord's will is perfect. Malik was a sincere friend, and will always be in my heart and memories.
