Al was the son of Harry and Connie (Anderson) Atkinson and loving younger brother of Dick, Joan, and Harry Atkinson, all peacefully deceased....

I was a lucky guy to know Aldo. I worked and played with "The Hawk" in St. Thomas in the 1980s. Conch Parmesan, Bombers, "Shot-a-Clock", it all seems like a dream now. A wonderful foggy dream that included my friend Aldo. Rest in peace my friend, rest in peace.

I met Al when I was about 13 and through the years, both in high school at Sacred Heart and beyond we had a lot of great times and I still have many found memories. He was my friend and my teammate, but most importantly he was a great guy and a good man. Although in recent years we didn't communicate much, I will always have fond memories of the crazy, and always fun things we did over the years.
