Maxine and kids,
What a loss, ours and yours.
I'm so glad I had a chance to see him
one more time (at Comiskey Park) and
proudly tell him about the time I tackled
him...I still can't believe he remembered
something like that.
I can still see him in all the sports,
especially football breaking thru the line
for another big gain. We will all have
memories like that. Love you all,
Joe Goddard

Dear Maxine and Family,
I was sorry to read of your husband's death. Although I did not know him, I felt I did from your talking about him and his athletic interests. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
