DR. ALAN Q. ESCHENROEDER

With delight, I recently remembered Alan's invitation to join him on a tour of a US Navy missile cruiser that was visiting Santa Barbara. As a City councilman, Alan was treated as a VIP and as his tag-along, I was very happy to be there with him. It was an intriguing visit both from a highly technical aspect, but also, the very sobering thoughts what devastating power that vessel carried. Many, many thanks Alan! RIP, Steve
