DR. ALAN Q. ESCHENROEDER

1933 - 2014

ESCHENROEDER, Dr. Alan Q. 81, of Concord, MA and formerly Lincoln, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday March 15, 2014. Beloved husband of Laura Page Eschenroeder. Survived by his two daughters Laurel McGinley and her husband J.P. McGinley of Stafford, VA and Lise Eschenroeder of Santa Barbara, CA, and predeceased by his son Stephen Christian Eschenroeder. Survived by 2 stepsons, James Riker and his wife Rosalyn Grigsby of Takoma Park, MD and Van Riker and his wife Jenn Riker of Seattle, WA. He was Grandad Alan to Robert, Daniel, William, Sean, and Reed. Dr. Eschenroeder was born on February 22, 1933 in St. Louis, MO, to the proud parents Harry H. and Lorraine (Busse) Eschenroeder. Brother to H.C. Eschenroeder and his wife Nancy Pullman Eschenroeder of St. Louis, MO. Dr. Eschenroeder graduated from Webster Groves High School in St. Louis, MO. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. His 50 years of scientific work included his time at Arthur D. Little and Harvard School of Public Health. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday March 20th at 2:00pm at Duvall Chapel at New England Deaconess Association, 80 Deaconess Rd., Concord.
