Not sure what to say?

Dear Bryant and the Goodridge Family and Lacey, we are so very sorry for your loss. Much love to you all as you celebrate Alan´s amazing life and legacy. Love- Matt, Emily and Nick Zahn

I recently learned of Alan´s passing and would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Lacey and all of Alan´s family. I came to know Alan as a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Cancer Biology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine, following his tenure as Provost at the University. Despite his enormous accomplishments as a researcher, educator and academic administrator, Alan was always a humble and gracious colleague, with a keen sense of humor and a willingness to...

Lacey, Carole and I send you our love, sympathy and support. We enjoyed our time together with Alan at Chaine, his love of wine and birds. A great loss of a gracious man. Ken Krier & Carole Fenstermacher

Lacey, I am sorry for your loss. Alan sounded like an incredible man! Deepest sympathy as you celebrate his life and mourn his passing.

So sorry to hear of Alan's passing. I have fond memories of bird watching in the Everglades and attending wine tasting events with Alan. He will be sorely missed.

A great loss of a great man. I will miss him dearly. Skipper, rest easy in smooth sailing and following seas.

He was very supportive of his junior faculty, promoting them and always celebrating their successes. In the early days, he read every grant proposal I wrote. His edits were powerful, and I think that I really learned to write because of...

To Gardner and Bryant from over the fence, and forty plus years ago: We were very saddened to learn of your dear Dads passing. Strangely we were at the cottage and my Dad Paul (86)out of the blue, asked me if I knew how your Dad was That was August 15th and I found the obituary. We lost our Mom in 2018. Your Dad was such a a fine and thoughtful man - and no one was lovelier than Ann! We have so many fond memories of your family, of being kids on the block till the lights came on, hose fights...

My dearest Alan, you have been gone for only one week, and I miss you deeply. I am keeping our love in my heart and will protect it forever. May you be at rest in peace. Love, you devoted wife, Lacey King
