Alan Grossman

Mr. Grossman was the best teacher I ever had! Because of his firm yet incredibly interesting teaching methods, I went on to study Education and taught young Jr high and high school children English in Israel for over 30 years. I often phoned Mr. G from Israel and we had wonderful chats on the phone. Even more, we hung out often when I was blessed enough to come visit him in 1000 Oaks. See you in heaven Mr. G!! I visited Alan often and I’m very very upset that I hadn’t known that he had fallen ill. He was still trucking along like a champ when I saw him last but I have to admit that was about a year ago. We had Exchanged Facebook messages maybe six months ago I had not been aware he had fallen ill. I had Alan for my fourth grade teacher, I’m 44 years old now- that’s how great he was! I stayed in touch with him this whole time he is the only teacher from k-12 that I regularly spoke with and visited....
