I taught PE with Alan from 1976 to 1979 .... he helped me , a fellow Yorkshireman settle into life in Croydon , he was always supportive and we had some great nights out too . RIP Dave Harvey

Mr Kay. What a lasting impression you left on me with your french classes. Loved them! You were ahead of your time in terms of teaching engagement and pupil relationships. Also a pleasure to (briefly) know you outside of school, my dad, Bernie Brock, taking me to the pub before football and having a few drinks with you, Jim(Earle) and Clive(Thompson).
RIP Alan!
