Not sure what to say?

Dear Gaby, I'm so sorry that I did not know sooner about Alan. What little I knew of him, he seemed like a great guy. After all, he married you, right?
Sincere condolences, Gaby.

Love Steve

Alan,
One word describes you. Debonair. A courteous, kind gentleman. You are a class act. Jaime still comes to this house when he gets out of the yard. He really does miss you. Andy and I have walked him and he enjoys every minute of it. Say, hello to Mom. You both made your departure on the same day (one month ago). I love and miss you both.
