Not sure what to say?

I remember Alan from New London High. He was a well dress
young man, he and his brother.
Just a gentlemen & kind human.
I admired his intellectual conversations.

Just last night I was listening to music as Harry Nilsson began singing You Made Me Love You. I stopped and smiled because Harry singing any of those old classics always reminds me of Alan. He loaned me that particular album some 45 years ago. I loved it, but finally had to force myself to return it to him. We knew each other for a few years in New London when he was working at the 95 House and I was often a Friday night customer. We got together after hours reveling with the late night...

I was terribly sad to find out about Alan's passing. Such an amazing mentor, I always think of him and his teachings continue to help me evolve as an artist and as a human being. I wish I could be in contact with Eric and send my deepest condolences to him and all the family.

Alan will always be remembered fondly by his friends in New Haven. A wonderful, warm man and a true "guiding light" in the area of music and photography.

Condolences to his brother and the many who loved him. Alan was a kind and gentle guy.

My husband and I often spoke to Allan on our frequent visits to Bright View to visit my father in law. He was so pleasant, so interesting to talk too. We looked forward to seeing him each time we visited. We will remember him always, and he will be missed at Bright View.

My condolences to you, his brother Eric, extended family and friends. He was such a pleasant person and always smiled as he said, hello. May his soul rest in peace. God Bless!

Eric, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Alan. I can't even imagine your sorrow and losing a sibling. Remember the love and good time for comfort. How fortunate you were to have a great brother...and family. Hugs and prayers for you...
