Not sure what to say?

Such a lovely, talented soul. Thanks for all the wonderful music, Alan.

So sorry to hear of Alans passing. He was a good friend for many years. I first knew him when I joined the Gay Mens Choir in the 80's. Then it was named the Brash Ensemble. He kept the choir going for many years. My condolences to Jon Hul

I was one of the original members of the New Mexico Gay Men's Chorus that Alan founded in about 1982 and accompanied for many years. He was always a very talented, kind and generous man. My condolences to Jon Hull and to all those who loved him.

Thank you for posting this Marty, I wouldnt have known otherwise. Mr Stringer was responsible for not only helping me pass English class, but inspiring my creativity and showing me the way real writers in any shape or form could write from their own experiences and also create new ones. I have used these skills in my professional life and I have already written and published two childrens books...a picture book and a novel along with its own coloring book. Making children smile and also...

I sang in the choir at First UU Church with Alan as director for many years. I adored him. He was so talented, soft spoken and gentle. A very fun choir director. I will miss him greatly.

Alan kept the First Unitarian choir going for many many years. He composed new songs for us to perform, and was willing to help anyone improve their singing. He was a kind and modest soul.

Mr.Stringer ,you showed me a great kindness when I moved from California to Albuquerque to go school. Always show kindness to others.may God bless and be with your family and friends.Juliet Heneghan

Alan Stringer was a wonderful teacher of mine at Manzano High School. In his Creative Writing Class, he always inspired my imagination (and humor) to soar. I am forever grateful to have met him and for his wisdom, kind words and encouragement. Peace and Love to his family. -Marty Lee
