Not sure what to say?

I was was thinking back the other day and looked up information about AlWondering how he was doing. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Al was a man that greatly influenced me in a positive manner, as a young man i often had the privilege of meeing with him To present my companies products and he helped me become more confident in my own abilities. He was a kind man that encouraged me to excel . May sound strange to hear that as a VP he would concerned about a single individual that...

Marlene and Paty, my deepest condolences for your loss. You are always in my prayers. Will never forget the time I spent knowing you. Send all my love. Norma

Dear Basila Family, Both my wife, Cecile, and I worked with Al at the Bashas' main office throughout the decade of the 1980s. He was always a very thoughtful and professional man, and his deep wonderful eyes exuded a love for life!
We both enjoyed working along side him and the whole family of Bashas' members of the time. May Al now rest in the peace of Jesus.

R.I.P. Uncle Al. I'm going to miss our trips to "Blacks Beach". So many great memories.Love , "Greggo"

My sincere condolences to the family of Albert Basila. Growing up in Phoenix, I knew Al from Kenilworth grade school days, through North High days. Al was always a good student, and a friend. I worked with both Wally and Ed Estfan at GE. Those two were just as good friends to me as was Al. A couple of times I...

My heart and prayers go to you Marlene and your family. I have fond memories of AL and you from the old Bashas' #41. So sorry for your loss.

Marlene and Family my deepest condolences. I knew Al for over 50 years and was one of the finest men I have met in the grocery industry. Al would always ask how my parents were which showed his compassion for people. A major factor to the success of Bashas. I will always remember him as a friend. Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
