DR. BAZO WAS MY DOCTOR IN THE SEVENTIES . HE WAS ALWAYS HELPFUL WITH MY HEALTH NEEDS. R.I.P. DR .BAZO

I met Dr. Bazo in November of 2008 after being referred to him by a colleague in Barbados. He was a very pleasant individual, and instrumental assisting with my FAA medical. I just learned of his passing whilst recommending him to a colleague. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Doc, I think of you still even though so much time has passed. But you were my Doc and my friend for over 20 years. As I fly in my old plane, you told me not to buy, I smile and wish you blue side up!

I first met Dr. Bazo through my wife / Dr. Karen Dunbar. She was a longtime friend of Al, and always spoke highly of him. When I met him, I fully understood what she was talking about. He was a true gentleman and scholar. He became my new AME, and remained so for years.

We always looked forward to seeing AL's smiling face and helping hands at Sun N Fun each year. Al was fun person to hang out with, and, a true professional at what he did.

May God bless your soul Al. May you...

I met Dr. Bazo through Dr. Karen Dunbar / My wife. He became my AME for years. Always loved to see him at Sun N Fun each year. Al was a true dedicated professional, and a very caring person. He became a very close friend of Karen and me over the years.

May he rest in peace and level flight.

Albert you were someone I will always remember rest well!

So sorry to hear that Dr. Bazo passed away. He was a great hangar neighbor and medical examiner. He will really be missed around both Ocala and Fort Myers airports. He was an exceptional man and always ready to help me with my hangar door and airplane. I will miss him when I return to OCF in September.

Dr. Bazo was an extraordinary physician and friend who truly loved aviation. I first met him as President of Flying Physicians, and loved the trips to Cayman and diving with Al. As ranking doc at Sun n' Fun, he always had a smile and time for a chat. He cared for my family like they were his own. To a true gentleman and aviator -- Fly high with the angels, my friend.

The Doc will be missed by all who knew him. I always enjoyed our conversations and I am saddened to here of his passing. May The Lord bless him and comfort his family.
Sincerely, Captain Jeff Daum
