Mr. B was a very fine employer who took the time to listen to his employees and respond with concern and compassion. A great leader.

Halloween Day 1983 I got hit by a truck in NYC while having the best day of my short-lived career as a bike messenger- Buck was in town finalizing things with Mr. Perot- He came to see me in the indigent ward at St. Vincents Hospital- with his eternal calming nature/ reassurance and existential wit/ I had come close to the great beyond days before-It remains one of the kindest experiences I´ve ever had- but it was just one of countless evidences of his sincere care for fellow humans. Buck was a great leader. He listened, recognized and respected other´s opinions and shared his thoughts in that soft calming voice. And usually got his way. Lol He is missed.

Buck and Betty were two of my all-time favorites at The Sharon and I am so grateful that I got to know them. I will always fondly remember our covid 19 Bloody Mary Zoom Calls. :) He was also the MOST handsome of all on our veterans day wall. They were special people and we miss them. Sending lots of love and very fond memories.

Buck was the best of friends both in business and personal. His life was one well lived.
