We called Mr. Byrd the "mayor" of our neighborhood. He was always warm and welcoming to our grandkids to his beautiful back yard for fishing or pool splashing. A kind, sweet, friendly, generous neighbor who truly lived what Jesus taught us... to "love thy neighbor as thyself." Deepest sympathy to Mrs. Byrd and family.

The world is a little less beautiful without the kind and generous Mr. Byrd among us. His smile and laugh will live on in our memories. Love to Mr. Byrd's family from the Harveys and Durhams.

I remember Al from NAVMTO. He was always so kind, calm, and the complete gentleman. My sympathy to his family; I know he has left a big whole in your hearts.
