Albert Drumright

Mr. Drumright was my sixth-grade teacher, and my memories of that year are filled with sunlight. He made learning fun and listened to our ideas with respect. I remember somehow talking him into letting a couple of us build a wooden model of the heart with marbles to roll through the chambers, and we worked outside the classroom, feeling empowered and excited at creating our own learning.
