Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I am getting up there in years and wondered what happened to him. He first inspired me as a young 15 year old at the Broglio and Setpa baseball camp. I started switch hitting and my friends and brothers made fun of me,until Coach Endriss pulled me aside and told me I had tremendous potential. His belief in me tremendously helped a young and insecure player. I ended up playing 4 years of college baseball and batted cleanup in college and semi pro...

He was a great Coach at School

We miss you "Big Al" our time together at StvEluzabeth's High School's in Oakland. Then later in everyone's life, for an annual dinner at the Goodwins home in Napa, with the Goodwins, the Kortes, the Radeckes and me, "Little Al".

Al was my Dad, Dick Smiths, best friend. My dad and Al are now in heaven playing the game! Thank you Al for the friendship my dad had with you. Bless you. Sincerely, Pam Smith Sudmeier.

While I never knew Albert Endriss, I know his son Matt. Albert must have been a class act, because Matt is and I know he learned it from his parents. Matt has told me that his father was his "best friend", which tells you that Albert was indeed a special person. My deepest condolences to the entire Endriss family. My prayers are with you.

Coach Al Endres, Thank you for being a pillar of our community and being a great roll model. Your great competitiveness and drive to excel left a lasting indelible mark on all of our lives. I've been a HS/JC Coach and a PE teacher for 30 years and know that you, Phil Roark, Bob Troppman, Jim Handretti, Dick Heart had a huge inpact on my trajectory in life. I just got this and sorry I missed your memorial service. My deepest thoughts, wishes, prayers and condolences are with you...

Dear Jackie-I want to send my condolences to you and your family for the passing of Coach Al! I don'y know if you remember my folks, the Bagliettos, but you and Al, back in the 60's and 70's use to get together at different functions. My brother Jack and I were students at Redwood High School 58 to 61. Jack played baseball for BobTroutman and Al. Later as the years flew by, my son, Jeff Pearce, was coached by Al at College of Marin and was awarded a scholarship to Pepperdine. He...
