"Right around the corner AL....."
I too was with NTD there never a more delightful man than AL. He was with us day after day through many years. He was part of our group and made our travels first of all safe and always fun. Condolences to his family.

When I was NTD Al was our bus driver and what a delight he was. Smiling and happy and he took everything in stride. He took care of us! We all adored him. I send my condolences to all of his family. His memory lights our hearts.

My condolences to the family. I was an actor with the National Theatre of the Deaf, and Al was our tour bus driver for several years. He was so much more than 'just' our driver though - he became a treasured part of our traveling family. When I was with National Theatre of the Deaf 1980-1983, we never went anywhere without Al.

He was our driver, protector and always had a ready laugh and joke.

He was one of the NTD Family for years.

As one actor (Howie Seago) wrote in an email: "He's driving God's chariot now".

May his memory be a blessing.

Al was a great driver for the National Theatre of the Deaf touring company.
He was fun to be around us, actors and stage crew. He will be missed. Heaven needs a bus driver like Al. :-).

Dear family,
On behalf of Imelda, the Belgian students who participated in the Williams School exchange program and myself we express our deepest sympathy at the passing away of Al. He was the beloved bus driver of the Belgian students. He was competent, committed and helpful. He was a good man. And so patient with the young students. We do miss him.
