Not sure what to say?

Al challenged the "system" when he appeared on the Women's OB ward at Hartford Hospital-June 10th 1968! He was dressed in a dark suit, top coat and hat ( it was 90 + degrees outside)!!! Al Floyd, dressed in a hat, top coat, and suit wheeled me down to see my new baby girl at Hartford Hospital on the morning of June 10th, 1968!!!He was always a hero to me, and I loved him dearly!!!I was a young faculty wife at that time...Race riots in Hartford were prevalent, but Al negotiated with caution and care! He is sorely missed!!!, He set the tone for young black students at a primarily white private school before true integration existed. LOVE YOU FOREVER, AL FLOYD!!!!

Our deepest condolences on your loss. The D’Esopo Family.
