Not sure what to say?

Many find memories of Al, or Captain at the time. When I transferred to VPD from Oakland PD, Al did and said all of the things to welcome me to my new department. Great man, surely missed by all who came in contact with him.

What a great guy to work with and deal with on a regular basis, he will be missed!!

My sincere condolences to the Lehman family.

Condolances To The Family,
I graduated in 63, and like Al who graduated two years before me, went directly into the Corps, he was in his last year, and I was just starting, we shared a couple bus rides from the base to Vallejo. He's a good Marine, and now guards Heaven's Streets.
God Bless, and Semper Fi

I didn't really know Mr. Lehman on a personal level, but had a number of contacts with him while working as the police reporter for the Times-Herald in the early '90s. He was always very kind, open and approachable. I found that refreshing and very unusual, and appreciated it very much. I never forgot him. Blessings to his family.

So sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you, Al was such a great person and school mate, and such a gift to Vallejo PD. He had such a twinkle in his eyes when he smiled, look to the heavens and you will see him shinning up above,, we are gifts from god and he has reclaimed him to watch over you all

AL,
I am going to miss you and our m/c rides and you getting yelled at for wearing cec's pants!Thank you for being a part of my life and for all the laughs and advice over the years. IWFFIW. My condolences to the Lehman family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We will remember him fondly as one of the nicest guys we had the priviledge to know.
