I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I don't know whether you remember me, but I was a part of the Shawnee Mission Northwest High Schoool Library Group.
Besides the name of Al, our Dads had a lot in common. They both worked for Western Auto and were both Staff Sergeants in WWII and discharged in 1945. Al was a good friend and a and a good customer he was always fair, generous and loyal in his dealings with me. He was smart and wise, a combination you don't see much anymore. The world needs more people with his qualities and integrity. I will miss him.
