Not sure what to say?

I was surprised and saddened to read of the passing of Al Meehan. As a long-time Bridgeport Post employee I had contact with Al not only with the Fire Department but akso with American Homestead and Magic Carpet. My last contact with Al was about three years ago at the Bridgeport Post Office. Al was as I had remembered him... modest, unassumong and friendly. And that's the way Al Meehan will live in my memory.

My Prayers and Sympathy to the Family of Al Meehan.
It was a pleasure and a privledge to have met and known Al. He was a kind, humble, gentleman always. He will be sorely missed at the Post Office, but we are not a people without hope. May the God of all comfort, comfort and strengthen you all in the days ahead.
God Bless,

My Condolences.

I am very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Al for several years on the Fire Department. He will be missed by all. Our prayers go out for him

My deepest sympathy to the Meehan Family. It was a pleasure to work with Chief Meehan in the communications room. He was a special person to know and who always knew the right things to say. He seemed to always put a smile on your face and always seemed to make you laugh. He will be deeply missed not just from me but from all of us who knew him in the FCC room.

Dear Mrs. Meehan and Family,

It was a pleasure and an honor to work for Al in The "Alarm Room". We all respected him as a boss and loved him as a friend. He was a gentleman in the truest sense. Always with a kind word and good story to tell.
My prayers are with you and your family.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Meehan family. I have had the honor of working with Chief Meehan as a firefighter and as a member of the Bridgeport Democratic Town Committee. Chief Meehan was always a gentleman who loved his family, his fellow firefighters and the people of the city that he serve with honor. He was a great man, thank you Chief for all of the support you gave me.
