Read MoreAl was my 1st employer, at Bengal Graphics (as a receptionist), when I moved to New York City. He was a fair employer but always had time to chat with hi employees. He made working there feel like "family" - I am so sorry to hear about his passing. Along with Al Prigmore, they kept working at Bengal pretty interesting to work there. My condolences to his family. We lived at 311 in 5F. He always had a joke and a positive word for me. I was 11 when we moved in in 1962 and overwhelemed by the size of the bldg. . His Mom and Dad were also wonderful.
