ALBERT NUSSBAUM Obituary

NUSSBAUM--Albert. New York City, his favorite city in the world, Al Nussbaum, husband, stepfather, step "zayde," brother and uncle passed away at the age of 80 years. Albert was an adventurer and a wonderful host. He had a rich, rollicking life, running a printing business and traveling all over the world, making friends everywhere--even at Disney World, where he became pals with Goofy. With his first wife Joy, who predeceased him, he held big, fun-loving family Fourth of July gatherings at his summer house. He lived his life first class! He will be remembered forever by his loving and much-loved wife Leda, with whom he travelled the globe; his devoted brothers Bernie and Martin; and his sisters-in-law Nancy and Kane. And he was deeply loved by his stepdaughter, step granddaughter, nieces, nephews and extended family and many dear friends.

Al was my 1st employer, at Bengal Graphics (as a receptionist), when I moved to New York City. He was a fair employer but always had time to chat with hi employees. He made working there feel like "family" - I am so sorry to hear about his passing. Along with Al Prigmore, they kept working at Bengal pretty interesting to work there.

My condolences to his family.

Respectfully,
Eva

We lived at 311 in 5F. He always had a joke and a positive word for me. I was 11 when we moved in in 1962 and overwhelemed by the size of the bldg. . His Mom and Dad were also wonderful.
