ALBERT RICKERT, II (Age 90)
Of Fredericksburg, Virginia died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Medstar Hospital in Washington.Albert was born in NJ on February 5, 1924 to Albert and Sarah Rickert.Mr. Rickert served in the United States Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel and then was a Security Director for the U.S. Government.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Rickert.He is survived by two sons, Albert A. "Rick" Rickert, III and wife, Carolyn and Randall C. Rickert and wife, Kim; two daughters; Linda Lavender and Lisa Rickert; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Aquia Episcopal Church, in Stafford, VA. Inurnment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery at 2 p.m.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans - VA Regional Office, 1722 I Street, NW, Room 210, Washington, DC 20421Condolences may be sent to: mullinsthompsonstafford.com
