On October 10, 2025, Al Kacala left this earth to join the “cosmic soup” and reunite with the love of his life, Betty.
He leaves behind his children, Kirk Kacala and Kelly Vontran, his son-in-law, John, his grandchildren, Matt (Mamata), Brady (Evie), Cody (Lora), and Kyle. He was also blessed with great grandchildren Apollo, Arie, and Ezra. He also leaves behind his granddog Toby and a myriad of nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Everyone loved him beyond words.
A visitation is scheduled on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 10 AM with a memorial service at 11 AM at Connelly’s Funeral Home at 7110 Sollers Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21222. A celebration of life wake will be held immediately after at HighTopps (his favorite lunch place)at 2306 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093.
