ALEIDA VAN BERS

Lida was a theatre friend of my mother, Betty Coates; Lida lived up the street from us. She was fun to be around. I remember a happy summer when, as a child, I acted in a theatre production with Lida, my mother, and several other adults and children. It was a story about "a tall, tall castle" and, if I remember correctly, Lida wore a pink costume, and played the part of a young maiden who lived there. Sincere Condolences with the passing of your dear Mother! She was a lovely woman and a great friend!

Mrs. Van Bers was similar to Alice Munro. A famous Canadian short Story writer who recently passed. Much of their time was spent as a house wife, helping to raise children, and much of their time was spent doing what they loved to do. Munro, writing, and Mrs. VanBers, painting art, and some Theatre. That´s how I remember Mrs. VanBers. My condolences to the family, and all the best going forward. She will be missed.
