Alena Marie Ruposky

Alena Marie Ruposky, 58, of Monongahela, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born December 30, 1957 in New Eagle, the daughter of Elaine Seman Johnston who survives and resides in Finleyville and the late Augustus J. Johnston.
Alena was a graduate of Ringgold High School, class of 1975. She had waitressed at both the South Hills and the Monongahela Valley Country Clubs. She also was employed by Northwestern Health Services , McMurray, where she worked with mentally challenged adults. Alena enjoyed bingo, the Meadows and going to their camp in Erie.
In addition to her mother, Alena is survived by her husband of twenty two years, George Ruposky; two stepdaughters, Melanie Ruposky Snyder and husband Brandon of Rostraver Township, Candice Ruposky of Donora; step grandson, Brody Ruposky; sister, Kimberly Bailey and husband Shawn of Washington; nephews, a great niece, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 12:30 pm with the Rev. William Terza officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
