Alena Ruposky Obituary
She was born December 30, 1957, in New Eagle, a daughter of Elaine Seman Johnston of Finleyville and the late Augustus J. Johnston.
Mrs. Ruposky was a 1975 graduate of Ringgold High School.
She was a waitress at both South Hills and Monongahela Valley country clubs. She was also employed by Northwestern Health Services, McMurray, where she worked with mentally challenged adults.
Mrs. Ruposky enjoyed bingo, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino and going to her camp in Erie.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband of 22 years, George Ruposky; two stepdaughters, Melanie Ruposky Snyder and husband Brandon of Rostraver Township and Candice Ruposky of Donora; a stepgrandson, Brody Ruposky; a sister, Kimberly Bailey and husband Shawn of Washington; and nephews, a great-niece, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, with the Rev. William Terza officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Ruposky's memory to Frye Funeral Home, Monongahela.
