My sincere sympathy in regard to the deep loss of your father, Alex. I was privileged to know him for a short time, but in that short time, I truly enjoyed listening to him about his experience as a Pro football player, and his passion as being a teacher. He was a good person!

Al and Ruth were great neighbors and wonderful people. My father, Bob Rafferty, called me to let me know that Al had passed away and said what a nice couple they were. (Bob is 95 now and still mourns the loss of Mary last year.) As kids, we thought the world of Al and Ruth. God Bless you, Al. Rest in peace.

Dave. Your Dad was and will always be a very special person and friend to me and my family. We will miss him deeply. I will always cherish the time we spent with him at the camp, family outings and my fathers Christmas tree Lot. It was a pleasure to share a few light hearted moments with Alex here in Atlanta. He was genuine with a great sense of humor and a fierce fondness for the game of football. His sense of humor and talents will certainly live on in his beloved son David.
