David, I'm thinking of you and am so sorry that I can't be with you tomorrow. I loved your mom and dad and am so thankful that I could share time with them. I'm also happy that John and Johnny got to meet them. They are together again and smiling down with pride at what a wonderful son they raised. Love you so much!

Mr. Aurilio
A football coach and a teacher, my Senior year at Garfield high school 1965 I learned so much from him about being mental tuff on the football field as well as being in good physical condition. The life of a teacher is felt deeply by his students especially if that teacher had a giving and touching life with deepest sympathies I will always remember COACH AURILIO a very special teacher. What we have done for ourselves alone pass away with us what we have done for others and the world remains.
To the Aurilio family
Hold fast to your memories, to all the cherished moments of the past, to the blessing and the laughter, the joys and celebration, the sorrows and the tears. They all add up to a treasure of fond yesterdays that you shared and spent together. The special moments in your life will never change.
We weep for Alex Aurilio are tears watering the hope to meet in heaven.

To the Aurilio Family:
My sincere sympathy in regard to the deep loss of your father, Alex. I was privileged to know him for a short time, but in that short time, I truly enjoyed listening to him about his experience as a Pro football player, and his passion as being a teacher. He was a good person!

Al and Ruth were great neighbors and wonderful people. My father, Bob Rafferty, called me to let me know that Al had passed away and said what a nice couple they were. (Bob is 95 now and still mourns the loss of Mary last year.) As kids, we thought the world of Al and Ruth. God Bless you, Al. Rest in peace.

Dave. Your Dad was and will always be a very special person and friend to me and my family. We will miss him deeply. I will always cherish the time we spent with him at the camp, family outings and my fathers Christmas tree Lot. I believe he is happy now having a great time in heaven with the old gang fishing and joking around. May god bless you and your family.

It was a pleasure to share a few light hearted moments with Alex here in Atlanta. He was genuine with a great sense of humor and a fierce fondness for the game of football. His sense of humor and talents will certainly live on in his beloved son David.

Mr. Aurillo - you were always so special to us neighborhood kids. I'm one of those from years ago, when Steve was alive and we played together. Your wife, Ruth, was a great friend to my mother and me. I haven't seen you in years, but I will miss you just the same. I loved you Mr. Aurillo!
