Not sure what to say?

Bonnie and family,

I just learned of Alex's passing and I apologize for not posting this earlier.

Please accept my condolences for your loss. I knew Alex from Carter Street Playground...my family and I lived just doors away from the park. I speak for many that echo the feelings of respect for Alex from the many days spent in the "shanty" playing ping-pong or basketball in the gym to the wild and wonderful winter evenings ice skating at the playground.

I have fond memories of sharing summer picnic meals with Alex and his family.
Sitting in the back yard under the tree cooking hot dogs with him. He made me laugh. He always had some little humor to share...and that smile!
I'm glad I got to know him.
To all of his family I am deeply sorry for your loss.

i only knew alex and his wonderful family for a short time. alex always could brighten my day and was always the first to say good morning when i got to work. i will always remember his smile, laugh and our talks. i could tell he was a great man just by the love and respect his family showed. my thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.

Ironically I am coming to Rochester this week to help celebrate my own Mom's 80th birthday and...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I certainly have a few fond memories. Wish I could be there to pay my respects in person. Guy, Sue and Michele, remember the great times, the laughter and the smile. Hugs, love and prayers from me to you.
