Even though I didn't ever have the opportunity to get to know my great grandpa I will miss him and am saddened that he will never get to meet my husband and eventually any children we may have. One day we will meet in heaven and then we can have plenty of time to catch up.

My brother Charlie called to tell me your Dad's obituary was in today's paper. I know he wanted to live to be 100 and he came darn close.
