I had met Alex only a handful of times at Boston Harbor Marina where he kept his lovely Bucephalus after waiting something like 7-12 years for a mooring. He was lovely, intuitive, kind, and had an absolute undeniable sweetness about him. Every time we would see each other on the dock we would make time to have a small conversation.
