Dear Gordon,

I heard the sad news about your father today from Kevin Rowan who read it in the Post. Just recently there was some sort of a virtual St. Ann's class reunion and all of us have been catching up through facebook.

It's been more than 25 years, notwithstanding, I hold fond memories and do remember the strong relationship you treasured with your father and the strong bond with all your family.

Dear Daphne and the Giampietro family,
Pat and I loved Alex, a great and good man and fantastic sculptor. We pray for the respose of his soul and for all the Giampietros. It was an honor for me to teach Charles, Tony, and Gordon at St. Anselm's. We pray that CUA will have a memorial Mass at the Shrine with an academic procession.

Fr. Anthony: We never knew you father - but we know he must have been a great and noble man because he raised a great and noble son. Our thoughts are with you at this time. We trust you are surrounded by family and friends and embraced by their love and we know that you must have many wonderful memories of your Dad. We are thinking of you here at UST and eager for your return.

He is a great man who truly understood the life of the Catholic Faith. He sincerely lived the sacramental life of the Church.
He was a pillar of our Brookland community and with his wife raised model children for us all.
I can still remember as a boy how he told my father how the feast of the Epiphany was his favorite feast. I was too young to understand the significance of the day then; and even now I know, though I am a priest, I still do not grasp the depth of the what he...

Charles, Rosellyn and family - please accept our condolences in this difficult time. 97 years young is a wonderful life and may he rest in peace. With all our love, Annmarie, Tim, Justin and Spencer

I have lost a unique and dear cousin. In fact he was more of a big brother to me and my brother Alex. We lived in a two family home in Brooklyn where we shared a large furnished basement. That was where all the parties took place.
Alex made it a fun place. It was always full of his fraternity brothers. They would sing songs that they composed with very funny lyrics, mostly poking fun at each other. They told jokes and they played ping pong. I was in awe. I was always on hand and they...
