Three days before leaving from Haifa, Israel for winter vacation in Miami, Florida I looked through the internet whether it is possible to meet once more my old friend Alex. I knew that he passed heart transplantation years ago and I hoped to meet him once again – but alas it was too late. Alex Hart was an extraordinary individual, extremely accomplished and gifted, he lived with the difficulties of having had a heart transplant over 18 years. He was extremely devoted to his wife, Ruth, the love of his life, and his children and son-in-law. He was a pious Jew, and never forgot his Creator, or his friends. He is and will continue to be very much much missed by all who loved him.
