Not sure what to say?

I knew Alex from our 4 years at Marianapolis Prep school,1963-1967. We were good friends. We were roommates for our last 2 years. I visited him and his family at their home in Rockville.
We studied and played sports and got into fine colleges. I remember Alex was always keen on going to Boston College. I am from Boston and wanted to see another part of the country, so I went to Villanova,a sports rival in those days. We would kid each other about our colleges.
Alex and I got on with...

My wife Shannon and I were very saddened to hear about Alex's passing...Alex & Joann's home in Windsor is next door to my parents house and they all became close friends since they became part time hill people :). We'll even grant Alex honorary Vermonter status as he really seemed to love it here and fit in so well (except for that funny accent :)

Alex would always pop over when I was working on my motorcycle in dad's garage to see how I was doing and offer a helping hand if needed....

I was so saddened to hear of Alex's passing. I knew him from the furniture industry . He was such a delight and always brightened everyone's day. My sincere condolences,
Jeanette Parrett

Very sorry to hear of our old friend Alex's passing.
We had some fun days in the early years at Gus Fischer and then at various furniture locations where we would catch up on family and friends.
Alex had that infectious laugh and terrific sense of humor. Alex was always a source of helpful information and made friends easily.
When we think of Alex we will smile and remember him as one of the good guys you meet in life.
He and his family are in our thoughts today.

Jay, Sorry for your loss and my condolences to you and your family.

Dear Joann, I am stunned to hear Alex passed away. I was his roommate for 2 years at Marianapolis Prep. We reconnected via emails a few years ago. We were trying to get together and meet either in Vt.Ct. or MA. Because of our busy schedules it never happened for which I am truly sorry. I have great fond memories of Alex when we were kids 15-18 years old. I knew his parents. Life is fragile, uncertain and random as to when we leave this earth. Please accept my deep condolences to you, his...
