Alexander Maasry

Alex was an energetic and brilliant colleague. I learned so much working with him in the White House. He made such an impression on me in the short time we worked together. My condolences to his family and please know that he made an impact on people across the world.

Observing Alex's heart, determination, and skills on the soccer pitch (unfortunately, he was usually on the opposing team), and his extraordinary camaraderie, we could already see that he was a special person with a brilliant future. We are deeply sorry for this loss to the world, and we send our sincere sympathy to the family and his many friends, colleagues, and admirers.

I did not know Alex, but heard so much about him, I felt the need to make a comment. Spending much time with the Pasternaks, they spoke often, and highly of Alex. His love of life, is strength in trying times, his drive, his love for their daughter. I am sorry for your loss. but know that your loved one has left a positive in this world, and many are richer for having known him.
