I had lost touch with Sandy many years ago having been very good friends at University in 1979 to 1981 and had the pleasure of spending time with him and his family in Dingwall and Gairloch, most memorably fishing. I was shocked to belatedly hear about his passing and wish all the family my best wishes. I am sure this is the Sandy I knew so many years ago.

I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. I have such wonderful memories of him always laughing and quick with a joke. It was always a treat to visit with him and his family although those visits were few and far between. My last visit with Sandy was about six years ago with my then soon to be husband. We have not met, but I knew Sandy's parents and visited them several times in Gairloch. I am a cousin of Johnnie Henderson. My father, Ken Harris, was Johnnie's stepmother's (Eileen) brother.
