Not sure what to say?

When I worked at Miller time, I´d always see Alex when I would work with his wife, Paula. He´s a great guy. Could never have a bad day when he was around he would always make me laugh. My condolences go out to you and your family.

Sad to hear this. My condolences to those he left behind.

My condolences to Alex's family and friends. He will be missed. Rock Island Arsenal was always one of my favorite places to instruct for work...especially if Alex was managing the training. He was the "Host with the Most"! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. And he took such great care of his students and instructors! After Alex and Paula moved west, I visited anytime I got to that side of the country. We always had such a good time and it was great to see Alex...

Paula,Paul, and Emily I'm sorry to learn of Alex's passing. The way Alex looked at you Paula said it all. You two shared 45 years together and were truly a match made in heaven (with Nancy's help of course). Alex had the kindest heart and did always have a great story. Some people go their entire life without out finding love thank God you two found each other. Alex rest in peace. Paula take one day at time love you Nancy Busch

Now I've lost 2 brothers...1 by birth & 1 who became family. My heart breaks for the Papke family, but I take comfort in knowing that the first thing Alex did, after being greated by those who went before him, was asking daddy to play euchre. Love & Hugs to you all. *Picture is from the Jersey Ridge Road Reunion at Postinos in Gilbert (Keith, Derek & Alex). Maggie (Margo) & Chad

Alex was a WONDERFUL human being! I worked with him at the Arsenal and he was so helpful with my son with bowling. Fly high my friend!
